Today I stayed in bed as long as I could….enjoying the warmth of the blankets, the quiet of the morning. I don’t mind the start of a fresh day, but it’s those amazingly peaceful moments that hug my soul. The car was packed up last night, so it was just about getting up and getting going. I made my protein shake, hugged and thanks Christa, and I was on the road again at 6:30 a.m.
There is something about that open road that just makes me happy. I have everything in arm’s length, and I never feel alone because I am usually talking to friends and family on the phone. Today was no different, and God bless the beautiful day it was. I got through Atlanta, then the Mountains in Tennessee, and then arrived safely in Louisville, Kentucky. All in all, it took me an hour back in time lol, and about 8 hours on the road with stops and gas.
I found Stephanie’s home with no problem, BEEAUTIFUL neighborhood, so I got the tour and chatted with her and daughter, Ari. Cheryl, her mom, came home later and we all celebrated Wilfred’s 2nd Birthday today! He was super adorable and it was a first for me to be at a puppy party.
Dinner was from “Roosters”- Korean BBQ chicken wings with blue cheese- DELICIOUS!! Bless her heart, she ran and got it so I could relax from my long drive- SUPER KIND so shout out to my hostess with the mostess, Stephanie!!!
Today’s Moments of Kindness: Arriving at Steph’s and greeted with smiles and hugs, chicken wings and a scary movie. Perfectenschlag.
Now it’s time to watch “The Conjuring 4” and then off to bed for much needed rest from the long day on the road. I can’t wait for tomorrow….it’s time to get my spooky on!
Thank you for helping me spread kindness with your support!!!
I LOVE sharing the joy of Adventure, and Travel! Every dollar you support me with goes right back into my mission for equipment, gas, and essentials. But most importantly, when you support me financially it tells me you BELIEVE in me and MY VALUE, and that means more to me than ANYTHING! Spreading the kindness is my goal on this amazing journey, and I thank you for helping me make magic for so many people. So THANK YOU for YOU!!
