Celebrating Kyra’s birthday today, we thought it would be fun to do things we hadn’t done yet or in a while. It was her day, and she chose some awesome stuff that kept us happy and busy. One of those activities we did was the BRAND NEW “Wreck-It Ralph” Meet and Greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here is my take on it, enjoy!
The four of us were giddy with excitement- after seeing the movie, it was going to be so fun to meet them in person. Yes, we still get excited to meet the Characters. Why? Because Disney is all about being a child again, and that’s what we LOVE about visiting this place. We brought our medals from the D23 “Wreck-It Ralph” Event, which you can read about HERE, and wore them for the picture.
We arrived at 10:50 a.m. in the Animation Building. For those of you who aren’t aware, you can enter the Animation area through the Store on the right, you don’t have to go through the tour area. The CM let us know that both Vanellope and Ralph would be there together at 11:30, which was nice of them, since they both seem to trade out on shifts. So if you want to see both at the same time, make sure you ask the CM at the beginning of the line.
The queue is AWESOME!!! It is meant to look like you are in the lobby area, like the film, and you are choosing which video game you are going to enter. They have mock up video game screens playing back here, along with my FAVORITE part which was that digital sign that told you what was going on with which game. Example: “Legend of Zelda” Missed a Link! Just PURE genius- bravo Disney!
The game that of course we are entering is “Sugar Land” which is where Vanellope is from. I thought they did an EXCELLENT job with the backdrop – I got a cavity just looking at it! It was bright, colorful, and almost a feel of playing on the board game “Candy Land.” They loved that we had the medals on, and they made Kyra feel great because she was the Birthday girl. Enjoy the pictures- we had a great time and I encourage you all to take a trip over to meet them.

Going from “What If? to “Why Not” is my life motto and I work hard at living that every day. I share everything from moving to Florida to live near Disney World to road trips across the States. I love the cool, quirky, and crazy stuff that I can find on my Adventures, and every dollar you donate helps support my efforts and hard work. Thank you to ALL who support me!
