A Letter to Wisconsin

Dear Wisconsin,

Hello, I hope this letter finds you well.  I guess I knew this was always coming… we would have to have the “talk.”  I would like to say it’s not you, it’s me… but it IS you.  I thought we could always be friends, but after you dumped 11 inches all over my beloved yard, yet AGAIN this Winter, I don’t know how we can ever be on speaking terms.  I thought we had an understanding… you bring on the 30-40 degree temperatures, and I stop complaining about how much I hate Winter.  Were you asleep when we made this agreement? I could understand if you were watching our beloved Green Bay Packers win at the Superbowl… but I have a sneaky suspicion that you just ignored me as usual. What happened to us WI? What happened to the love we once shared? The dreams we once we had… they all have seemed to vanished.  I would love to tell you that I don’t have my eye on someone else, but it’s true. Florida is so dreamy with its sunny weather and Disney allure- I just can’t keep my eyes away.  So Wisconsin, until June, we will have to get along, for the sake of the children.  I can’t say it going to be easy, but I know that once you see it my way and bring back the warmer temperatures, we will be able to hug it out and leave each other on a good note.  Until then, you can reach me by email if you need to get a hold of me.

Sincerely Florida’s,

Carl, Ellie, Belle and Jessie
